Study of advanced concepts in horse production. Emphasis on management practices utilized in the horse industry. 3 hours lecture with lab per week.
Course Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the course each student shall be given the opportunity to: identify and assess needs in the production and management of horses; employ critical thinking skills in management decisions; implement management practices.

Evaluation Standards
Instructor evaluation of the student’s competency in each subject area will be measured during the semester by written examination and by laboratory exercises.
