This course will be taught by individual instruction using the criteria from the Texas Department of Licensing for oral lesson plans. Lecture, audio-visual aids, and demonstration will also be used to assist the student.

Students will demonstrate understanding and application of various methods of teaching, evaluating, philosophy, and professional development in the field of Cosmetology.
- Students will have an understanding of how to develop lesson plan; students will have a basic understanding of the various methods of assessments used in teaching.
- Students will have knowledge of how to prepare for and conduct a class.
- Students will have knowledge of the different learner types and how to develop a lesson plan accordingly.
