The course offers an overview of ethical issues confronting leaders from the perspective of organizational ethics. Key topics include identifying ethical issues typically encountered in organizational settings, managerial skills necessary for developing ethical organizations, and a framework for evaluating, designing, and sustaining organizations of high integrity.

Course Learning Objectives
  1. Discuss ethical issues inherent to organizations.
  2. Identify sources for creating and sustaining an ethical organizational culture.
  3. Design prevention and intervention strategies to mitigate unethical behavior in organizations.
  4. Examine the purpose of organizational policy and elements of policy development.

Evaluation Standards
  1. The final course grade will be calculated based upon exams, class discussion, case studies, and other assignments the instructor may choose to include. Instructors may include participation grades and attendance as factors in determining course grades.

Weatherford College also provides the Coyote Pantry. The Pantry maintains boxed and canned foods for students in need. The location of the Coyote Pantry is two blocks west of the Weatherford campus at the Baptist Student Ministry (118 E. Park Ave., Weatherford).
