A study of the basic principles of the practice of human relations between organizations and the people who work for them for the purpose of building an understanding that mutual teamwork contributes to the welfare of both. Emphasis will be placed on case studies and application of human relations skills.
Evaluate human relations including diversity, attitudes, self-esteem, and interpersonal skills to promote career success; identify the causes and effects of stress in the workplace; identify individual and group communication and decision-making skills; and analyze how theories of motivation and human behavior impact strategies of change management.
